Maureen Lawson Profile

I have been a legal secretary or bad imitation of the profession off and on for 20 plus years. In March I was laid off and found myself back at home stairing at how many hairs were being shed as my dog, Charlie, wagged his tail when my husband walked through the door. I am the mother of three sons, ages 14, 11 and 11. I believe now that my hearing has not been diminished by concerts, loud bars, singing in church but by the the lone fact that all three can hit a pitch that only a mother who loves her children can endure and not throw them in the basement. My next job is to deduce my true place in the world aside from the obvious 15 year old stretch marks on my stomach if ever I was brave enough to wear a bikini outside my solar system.
