As a Therapy Consultant in the aged care sector, with a background in behavioural counselling, I turned to ‘fiddling’ with prose some 20 years ago. This suddenly matured into a passion and, over that time, what started out to be ‘words on paper’ might just have become an addiction. Of course, this fermentation process, by no means, happened without help. Greatly assisted by a very good friend of mine, who doesn’t mind critiquing my work with brutal honesty, I’ve also received invaluable advice form renowned Australian authors, Kirsty Brooks and David Harris. What is developing into a trilogy, Kaleidoscopic Shades, at no time started out on such an adventure. Whilst the first manuscript was undergoing a professional critique, I turned to writing the third instalment because – I had no idea where it was going! Though thee intention is to enthral the reader by taking them on a journey that leaves them with a taste for more, each instalment is, and will be, a stand alone tale.
