I've been thinking about, planning and 'trying' to write a novel for the past 20 years. I got quite a ways into one only to decide it was terrible. I have a hundred half written chapters, ideas and so on, on various devices. At the beginning of 2021 I decided this is the year to actually write. I read a suggestion to just write all the way through without editing and just keep going to the end. This is something I never normally do, I normally edit myself constantly while writing.
So I'm at 50,000 words on a new attempt. They're not great words. But I want to just try to see it through to the end and go from there. I definitely would like constructive advice and comments on what I've written and don't want to ask my friends to read it (...!) thus joined this group to see where it goes.
I read constantly and I'm very happy to read and review anything for anyone else.
Other than that, I work very hard at a job I love. I'm married and have one small fluffy dog.
