As a child of three, born in USA, I began to live all over the world since my parents worked in Jewish immigration after WWII. I lived in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, France, Brazil and Switzerland.Returned to US to go to college, was part of the sixties, participated in civil rights/peace movements etc. Graduated U of Michigan in Art and Art History. Married , moved to Cambridge, Ma. Painted, worked, joined the National Teacher Corps, had a daughter, got a Master's in Counseling. Had a son, opened a childcare center at Harvard Law School, . Went to work for Cambridge Public Schools, stayed there in many jobs for 25 years. Had two more sons, divorced, remarried. Retired from Boston Public Schools last summer. Always wrote at work - to train or motivate staff and wanted to write stories, articles, poems. Have painted over the years, especially when living on lower Cape Cod. Thinking about writing a column with life experiences.Planning to take a writing course to jumpstart this in January. Feel have much life and present experience to share that is more relevant and more humorous than the columnists I read in the living sections. Would love feedback on my writing.
