Gladys Smith-Duran is a divorced single mother of a teenager. She is a busy single mother and online social work graduate student. She earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado Christian University. She currently helps to care for her aging parent I their home, in Denver, Colorado, while she waits for her passive solar home to be completed, in Cotopaxi, Colorado (25 miles from Canon City). She works as a temporary contract worker in warehouses, medical facilities, and medical offices. She has been working in the medical industry, as either a nurse assistant or a health insurance claims technician for most of her adult life. Writing is one of her favorite pastimes.
