Profile Information

Scott's been a prodigious writer for many years of primarily technical material for his software engineering and architecture consultancy. But now he's trying his hand at fiction, his first passion before having to make a living got in the way.

An avid reader and devoted fan of mysteries in print and on film, Scott is interested in the application of the forensic sciences and profiling. He enjoys exploring the personalities of those in law enforcement. And he's seen much of the world, spending time in 37 states and four countries over the course of 35 years - experience that he hopes informs his writing.

"The Mourning Mail", the opening novel in the Debra Ann Wynn series, is Scott's first fictional work to seek publication. Publishing this book represents the culmination of a dream he's had since the eighth grade. The next book in the series, entitled "The Hodin Cabal: Choices", is also available on this website along the the third book, "Aunt Tik's: The Killer App." The fourth book, "Three-Murder Monte," is midway through initial production, and will be posted soon.

Scott now lives with his girlfriend and their dog, Rust E. Bucket (we call him "Rusty" because he has trouble signing "Bucket") in San Diego, California. He's the proud father of two daughters, with four grandchildren to date. His hobbies include restoring collectible autos, tinkering with high-tech audio-visual equipment, and trying to navigate the landmines of getting his smartwatch to do what he would like it to do.
