Born in India of Iraqi/Jewish parents, educated by Belgian & Canadian Jesuits in Darjeeling, lived in Japan, England and finally Israel. Written an historical novel re-creating the life of Jesus. Disorganized and lazy writer who needs a writer's group to push him to put pen to paper. Believes in being frank about the work of other writers because he believes it is in their best interest. Gets into trouble but he means well. He likes to receive scathing criticism as long as it is honest.
