I was born in Norfolk, was there for a year and my only memory of that time is ducks, just ducks, no idea why so don't bother asking. My family (parents and three older brothers) then moved to Sheffield where I grew a little taller and gained a few more memories, other than ducks. Moving once again, this time to Manchester, I didn't get much taller but definitely collected all kinds of strange and wonderful memories (sarcasm is allowed in my Bio, right?). I managed to escape to University. Yes, you've guessed it, Bangor University of Wales. I somehow managed to obtain a degree in Marine Biology, while doing all the things my mother told me not to and having a darn good time doing them. Upon leaving University I was privileged enough to go live in Singapore with my successful brother, where I first started the novel you see below. Once I returned to the UK I accumulated all kinds of strange jobs on my CV, from Internet Bank Customer Adviser to Internal Accounts Handler in a printing factory. Although, good at all I turned my hand to, nothing really made me stop and think "I really want to do this for the rest of my life!" so I generally moved on to pastures of a different type of green. I took some time out from career development, this last year, to finish the novel I started in Singapore. Had great fun writing it and living the easy life of part-time hours. Next step is editing it till I can edit no more and then, well, we'll see. I'll be moving to Denver Colorado in January to once again live with my brother. So I'll be invading the States soon. Can't wait! Thanks for reading my Bio. Hope you like the novel! Since originally writing the above, I passed my driving test, invaded Denver for 3 months or so, gave up smoking while there (didn't think they'd notice any more deaths over there if I turned nasty during the withdrawals), came back to the UK did a PGCE in teaching Science and decided not to. Don't get me wrong, I finished top of my class with Masters credits but the stress just wasn't worth it plus didn't have any time to write! Hopefully now life has settled down again, I'll be posting the rest of the chapters. Watch this space. Dee
