Carrie Bradstreet Profile

I am a stay-at-home mom of three kids ages 12, 14 and 16. I have absolutely no writing experience and my ADD makes it hard to read novels. My husband is the avid reader, especially of Stephen King and various Sci-Fi/Fantasy authors. He was also a huge comic book reader and collector as a child. When I heard of Stan Lee's search for the next superhero, I created a superhero for his show with the "dark" help of my husband. Needless to say, I didn't get my story to Stan, but since changed it up to make the character darker and not a superhero. My hope was to create a character that demonstrated the the devastation of childhood sexual abuse and the lasting effects on people. With the constant news of internet predators, my story fit right into that and I saw the urgency to get my story made into a comic or a movie. Much is left to the imagination of the screenwriter.
