Because I spent, in an earlier career, 7 years reporting and editing for newspapers in the US Southeast, I tend to catch my share of typos, and can't fight the urge to fix them, so you'll probably notice that if I've reviewed your work. I've won awards as a poet, journalist and technical writer, but have found book authoring to be a particular challenge, and I admire anyone who takes a shot at it. In my personal life, I maintain Angel and Demon (cats), am married to a clinical psychologist, and have three adult sons.
