I wasn’t one of those children who dreamed of becoming a writer. In fact, thanks to a poor English teacher in grade school, I detested it and only pursued academic writing for much of my first twenty-five years of life. It wasn’t until I found myself on a new spiritual path in 2004 that I discovered a talent that had been there the whole time, hiding beneath the surface.
