Unapologetically You by Teresa Title: "She, Her, Me, I"

What does it mean to be a strong man in today's society? Perhaps strength looks like cheating, profanity when upset, or even violence at times. I say that what has been presented as strength is
merely the opposite to me. The strength of a man should be viewed by the way he is with his companion, wife, and family. I speak of the one who is his significant woman.

He tells her what it is that he needs her to do, she informs him of who she is and what she represents. He wants her to know the extent of his appetite for multiplicity and variety, She doesn't
bother to entertain, because she isn't responsible for his lack of self-control; He tries to show her himself using childish gestures and premature games, She gives him her dose of what she calls
reality.

Strength for her is what she sees in him; When she speaks in a manner that is unbecoming to him, he quiets himself and allows her to express herself, yet comes back to her once she has cooled and
tells her what it was that he actually meant and how it went amiss with her.

In times when conversations make him boil with anger (he could resort to profanity or violence), he calms himself and leaves instead of staying.

He is a man who is capable of shortcomings; if he does yield to temptation, it is only in that moment. Anything that was shared with another in that time is already known by the other. It was an
act that was led without passion, nor will it be regarded as something for future pleasantries. Whatever it was that she delighted in from his intense affection that erupted from his love must be
emancipated, leaving her without. A strong woman understands a man is simply a man, not someone who lives without flaws, but he must learn from his indiscretions. She will not tolerate the male
macho tactics the world looks at as acceptable behavior for men.

What she alone knows is: When he is in anguish, she must give him comfort. When he is without, She will fulfill him. She walks neither behind or in front of him, but beside him. Only she knows that
this is not out of arrogance or rebellion but out of being, she is close enough that he doesn't have to utter a word, he can just touch her; he doesn't have to look into her eyes due to the
closeness she feels, and he doesn't have to look back to find her because she is right by his side. She, Her, Me, I......
