Title: Him, His, He
Unapologetically You by Teresa
What is it that he wants and needs, but has yet to be fulfilled?
Why are there such moans and groans from her as if he's mischievous?
When will he be heard instead of told? Should he remind her that he's young, handsome and bold?
No, no, no, he would not dare to say it to her face,
For this would present him in an unpleasant way.
He longs for the day he can be himself with her, easy as a summer's day, in the month of May.
He is open, but not too open. He gives; only enough. He loves, but with caution.
So, can he just be.....
I suspect not, but with her, he thinks just maybe I can only be Me.
She will not press me when I'm done, she won't demand when I'm at a set calm.
She will be reminded of who I am as a man, this allows her to as a woman to understand the significance of a man.
I must say she is different from the rest, not too clingy, crazy, or a disastrous mess.
I should keep her around, to see what more I can discover about her mystics abound,
This may cause me some dismay down the line, but when I look into her eyes, I think, I have to invest more of myself in her. ?áShe reminds me of an old-aged fine wine.
If I don't, I may miss the opportunity to see what this woman could potentially be. She leaves me and I shift into a world of unrest....
I get miscalculated and frustrated. If you asked me the word for it, I would call it a Man's Mental Mess.
So I think I may be up for the challenge,
I'll turn her days into night.
Her darkness into light.
Her wants to needs,
Shortcomings to triumphs,
The sadness into love,
She'll appreciate the feelings I give, it will be as if I'm sent from heaven above.
I feel she could handle all of me;
Him, His, He, all 3.....
