I don't know if I want to keep using this website. It's the point system. I don't know how many reviews I'd have to post, to be able to post one story or chapter of my own writing. It isn't one review for one post, and I'm just not good at writing reviews. I've written two novels with more than 25 chapters in each. I have no idea how many reviews I'd have to post, before I can complete posting one of those novels. It might take months or even years. If that's the way it's going to be, then I'm just wasting my time, going along with this website's pretense, that I'd be the next big writer.

I have now posted the first two chapters of my novella Chanitok High. The story concerns a sexually active high school girl, living in a Politically Correct, Inclusive and Permissive Community. She joins three of her classmates who’ve become Born Again Christians, and find themselves in serious conflicts with their “Inclusive, Enlightened and Permissive” parents and classmates; members of their school’s faculty and administration; along with the arrogant, heretical Pastor of the local apostate Church, in which they are members.

Well my short story, which I posted here yesterday, and can be read in less than ten minutes, is titled "Smashed Potatoes". It concerns two American Soldiers during World War II, who visit the Italian Village from where the parents of one of them came.
This story is based on an actual incident, that my father learned about from his cousin, who actually took part.

Hello my new friends on the Next Big Writer website.
My actual name is William D'Andrea. On many websites I use the pen name MrBillyD.
On August 3rd of this year I will be 72 years old, and I have been writing for more than 50 years. I am a member of several other writers websites, where many of my writings have received numerous very positive reviews. I also have four self published books available for sale on amazon.com, where less than a dozen copies have been purchased. This has led me to the conclusion that when it comes to being a writer, no matter how good your writing is, don't quit your day job.
When it comes to writing fiction, I see myself as an entertainer and my stories are my performances. When it comes to being an entertainer, I am a natural comedian, and when I am writing fiction, this Joker is wild.
Now once my stores are posted here, I will be able to say, "Here they are Ladies and Gentlemen! Whenever you're ready, the performances are about to begin!
