Master list as on old site

Hi Sol,

I know this has come up already, and I don't like to sound like a broken record, but I'd like to make another plea for the old style master list with three general categories. People are having trouble finding the material. Even though you have increasd the number of new works appearing on the home page, what we really need is a simple list without the distracting images, so that as many as 10 or 15 works (I don't know how many appeared on the old site but it worked) in each category are shown. (Once we click on the work we can see the nice bookcovers.)

I know you have argued that there are so any more genres now that you didn't want to create the three lists again. But everyone knew the novel listing meant long works including memoir or scripts, and short stories of course included op ed, memoir, blog entries, etc.

The main idea of this site should be to give the material as much exposure as possible so we get as many reviews as possible. I know its only been a week, but I essentially had to beg people to review my latest post. On the old site within a week I usually had 6 or 7 reviews. With the new site my work was up for a week and I got none until I begged. Those who I requested a review from told me they had failed to notice my post. I don't know if others feel that the new format isn't working for them, but I certainly do. (And please don't suggest I review more. I have more than 200 points, and this week I wrote more than fifteen reviews.)

I have been in love with this site since I first joined and this is the first time I've wondered if it's worth it to stay. Obviously I'm not giving up yet. I know people are stumbling around, getting their bearings, but I am concerned. At one point you said nothing is off the table.

So, please consider restoring the master list on the home page.

Everything else is great. I like the inline reviews feature - it's incredibly helpful. And the bookcovers are fun, I just think we should only see them when we click on the book.
