Congrats to all who won and all who entered. I do wonder if the grand prize winner is still on site. I wonder this since my review done in July still has no response from the writer. Am I the only one left in the dark? Curious minds want to know. Take care. Vern

Hi everyone! I just read the results of the contest, and I am surprised, stoked, and truly humbled. There were so many amazing stories, from a plethora of talented and imaginative writers. I want to thank you all for the reviews, constructive criticism, grammatical coaching, encouragement, and time, you took to read my story.
Having utilized the editing process on this wonderful site, I was provided the opportunity to fine-tune the story and fix many grammatical and punctuation blunders. Basically, all your suggestions, corrections, and technical feedback is what made this a "Runner-Up Winner." My original submission was more rough than I could have imagined! 
The veteran writers on this site are totally awesome, and I am so grateful to you all. I learned so much from this contest. Thank you!
