Topic: No Big Whoop!

No big whoop-tee-do, but I've lost my pizzaz for both reading and writing at the moment.  Hang in there with me while I try to get it back.  It all started with a trip to the doctor and my AFib diagnosis two years ago, and it has continued with a year from hell that has led to a small heart attack and an upcoming heart ablation operation with the installation of a Watchman in the left ventricle of my heart at the end of this month.

I'm sorry to say I must give up my animal rescuing, and it's causing me great grief, but that's what happens when you become an antique!

All of you here are like family, and to find myself not writing and not reviewing and not wanting to do either is driving me crazy.

I will probably be out of commission for a short time, maybe until the first of the year.  I wish for each of you a very merry Christmas.

Send me a note if you need anything between now and then, and I'll get an email that you did.

Happy trails,
MJ

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through, Marilyn. I know how much you care about the animals

Best of luck on the operation.

Re: No Big Whoop!

Sorry to hear about the med issues. Take your time. I might owe you a reciprocation, so it'll give me time to work on that.

Despite all this - Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Re: No Big Whoop!

Sounds like Supergirl got a little Kryptonite splinter so hang in there and it will work its way out so you can grab it with tweezers and dispose of it properly. In the meantime, wishing the best of the holiday season and looking forward to your return. Take care. Vern

Re: No Big Whoop!

I had four years of A-Fib, probably experiencing the same as you. Three different cardiologists tried three different things, but the fourth immediately did a Cryo-Ablation. That was last year and my A-Fib is completely gone Your mileage may vary, but I certainly hope it works for you.

Take your time! I'm in a similar boat anomy problem is motivation, or better yet, the lack of.

Marilyn--
Every animal goes to heaven and so does everyone who made it their life's work rescuing them. I am so sorry you are unable to continue and I hope the knowledge you've helped so many animals to get the care and love they sorely needed comforts you a little. You're a true inspiration to me and animal lovers on this site.
I'm praying for you, sweetie. If anyone deserved a miracle it's you.

Re: No Big Whoop!

Hi Marilyn,
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear that. You have been the most generous reviewer. Indeed, this site really feels like family. Please take a good care of yourself. We ALL need you back. You will be sorely missed.
Most importantly, I need you to be there next year as I write my next novel. I can't do it without you. (well, I can but it won't as good. smile )
Have a wonderful holiday and looking forward to connecting again.
