Question to all romance writers out here. Let me know if you think there would be any value in starting our own group, and then I'll do something, like creating a romance group. 
But I don't want to do it if it's not going to be used or add value, so I thought to first put the idea out there.

I was just thinking about this! I write mostly fantasy but dabble in romance, and all my stories have strong romantic elements. I'm definitely interested in hooking up with other romance writers to learn more about the craft. Count me in if you start a group.
I'd join your group. I just worry like Linda Lee that all these groups might turn some away, especially if it take points to post to the group. I want more than just "romance" writers to read my stuff. Like Karin, my stuff is not strictly romance, but it all has a strong romantic element. I'd like to start a group that's cross-genre, but I guess that's already the Premium. I'm thinking groups should be for discussion about elements of the genre rather than specific postings. Just my thoughts.
I absolutely share your view 100%. I guess we could make the rules and use the group only for discussions, writing feedback, announcing if you posted something new, etc. instead of posting. If there is enough interest. I know the Romance group on the old site was as good as non-existing. Nothing ever happened. But given the new site has re-invigorated everyone, who knows?
But yeah, I'd have to start to leave groups to join groups, five isn't a lot!
I would join a romance group. I write mostly write YA, but have been thinking about working on a non-YA romance series. I also love reading romance
