Writestuff Profile

I am a 45 year old business owner with a wife of seventeen years whom I dearly love. She is the apple of my eye. I have wanted to be a writer since the age of forteen. After reading Jim Kjelgaard's novel Big Red I attempeted to copy it word for word. When my teacher asked me what I was doing, I replied timidly, "I'm going to write a book." She walked off unimpessed. I wish now someone would have encouraged me more in the writing process. I went on a different path that was less than savory but am now taking up pen (or should I say keyboard) and writing again. We will see how it works out. Writing is my passion but I don't know if it's what I am meant to do. Rick
