I am the son of a soldier and a teacher who grew up around the world before the parents settled in Tidewater Virginia. History and reading have been lifelong hobbies while I did life in the business world. With two of the five kids through college and a wife who can tolerate me being around the house a lot I am trying my hand at writing my first book. The novel that I am posting at TNBW has been inside me and doodled with for a while but this is my concerted effort to do this thing called writing. So far I can say frustrating and fulfilling all in one day.
