The One Behind the Wall Profile

He enters the world in May 1965, at small-town-nowhere. His birth goes relatively unnoticed by the local and international media. Eventually disillusioned by the social paradigms and force-feeding's of inaccurate information, and non-fact based study, including the poor sexual performance of his teachers, and complete lack of competent live tavern Rock bands; he drops out of high school, sticks out his thumb, and runs screaming and wailing to the vibrant and liberal social scene of a major metropolitan area in the early 1980’s. Yearning for freedom and consumed with a fiery desire for intellectual growth, a burning lust for dirty old men, and a taste for cocaine and whiskey, he stumbles upon diverse scenes and a diverse sense of community beyond his imagination. Embraced by lovers, luminaries and mentors, activists, debauchers and debauchees; people like George Hislop, Craig Russell, Glenn Jones, and many others. They fascinate him; he fascinates them. With complete contempt for his gifts, he revels in his youth, unaware of the deep influence they will have on him. He eventually makes a valiant effort at “normal" relationships and “middle class” life. As career, house, and home follow, from the middle east to the south pacific he sees the world; --and he sees right through it. He finds complacency, and it is death. Eventually, with his tongue firmly planted in his cheek, he starts to write.
