Profile Information

I was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, from Italian immigrants parents in May, 1963. Did all my schooling there and got a Bachelors Degree in Political Sciences and Business Administration. I moved to Caracas, where I got my first job as General Director of an Environmental Foundation. After a year, I decided to open a Potter’s studio in a little tourist town up in the Hills. It was there that I purchased an antique 1930s type writer and started writing outside of the notebook. In 1989 my parents decided to retire in Florida so I sold my studio and moved to Florida with them. Since I am a 100% fluent tri-lingual (English-Spanish-Italian) an International Company sponsored my visa to work in the US as a Job Costing Accountant . A month later, I met my husband...and here I am, married with two girls. My hobbies are painting, working clay, restoring old furniture. I do not consider writing a hobby. Writing is a need I have to whisper to myself, to dream…to make them real on paper and to share them through publication. The idea of writing a book came to me as a way to get to know my father. I suggested to him to tape some of his stories so that I could type them into a memoir. Two years later he gave me five tapes, and my life changed forever. I decided that his story deserved to be told and so I started to write for publication. Innocent War is Book 1 of my "Nino" series.
