Shane Wilson Profile

I have been writing for eighteen years and have one novel published with a UK publisher; Bewrite Books. I had another novel, a speculative fantasy, published by an Australian independent publisher, who have since gone out of business. I have two novels ready for self-publication; gothic vampire and my speculative fantasy, and I recently won a genre fiction award for my first science fantasy, still unpublished. Though my main interest in writing is in reinterpreting the Arthurian legends, stripping away the fantasy and writing a realistic legend from the first person point of view; I am writing these King Arthur novels as a series of books. I am now currently writing the fourth book in the series. At home under my desk, I have a large portfolio of testimonials to my writing skills from published authors and writing teachers; none of this has helped me find a good quality publisher! I have written seven novels, worked at manuscript assessment for an Australian publisher, and have a dipolma in editing. I have carefully studied the craft of novel writing for many years and love to help and advise new writers who are working on their first novels.
