I am a mature male with extremely wide reading interests. I've been writing novels for about 30 years; until recently with no real interest in getting published. That, of course, changes many aspects of my writing. I write novels which I classify as mainstream contemporary. Some widely-read people have said my stories have a "literary" quality, but I'm not really sure what that means. To date, my books have covered topics such as: immigrants settling into a new land; serial killers; drug trade and control; the invasion of a major country. While I include many action scenes, I prefer to have my stories driven by character development which involves appropriate and intense human emotions. I include significant sex scenes which I choose to write as erotica.
