Of Bengali origin, living in Italy for three decades.Teach at Univeristy of Rome. Did M.A in Comparative Literature at University of Maryland. A decade of writing a personal/literary column with a major English language daily of Bangladesh, the Daily Star. Published a collection of columns, and have had short stories andpoems anthologized in the Indian sub-continent.Working on first novel.
