Ronn Munsterman Profile

I work in Chicago, but live in Iowa, making a weekly commute to the loop. I’m fifty-four and have been married to a marvelous lady for thirty-four years. I have a grown daughter and son as well as two beautiful granddaughters (what else could they be?). Because of the commute and the work hours, I have to be very disciplined in my approach to writing novels: 700 words a day, six days a week, or 4,200 words a week, no matter what! Using that discipline allowed me to complete my first novel in eight months. I have two published short stories. I completed BORDER GAP, my first novel (suspense) in May 2006 and am working on the second (World War II thriller), which I just completed today, October 7, 2006. I’m currently seeking an agent, but the task can be daunting as the rejection letters begin to pile up, fifty so far.
