*** OK, I must finally admit I'm stuck. All summer I've been mired in insurance claims and meetings with lawyers for an accident my son was in. Now I'm in classes and have been caught up in all that entails. I've had a terrible time coming up with the next step in my story, ever since I out-wrote the outline I'd drafted. While I still have many ideas and a clear direction for Walking Contradiction, I am struggling to get them typed. This story is not dropped. It will not be shelved. Don't lose faith in me. I'll finish it and it will be interesting. Thank you so much for your amazing feedback so far and all of the advice and observations have been more helpful than I could have hoped for.*** I was tired of the shallow, empty heroines and dashing, buff heroes of the many novels I've read. I was waiting for an author to capture a different kind of love, but they were all the same type of swooning attraction. We all know there is much more to a relationship than chemistry; there is also friendship, respect, difficulty and hope. My goal is to realistically capture these characteristics in a sci-fi romance story. I like a challenge. (You don't need to reciprocate with reviews.
