PurplePen Profile

PurplePen has gotten her second wind. It's been about 15 years since PuplePen has written fiction and she promised herself that 2008 would be the year she renews her love for the short story. PurplePen graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English way back in 1990. That same year she won a U of T literary award for a short story that explored a world where medical science allowed us to live much longer lives. Since then she has written very little but has two beautiful daughters, completed her MBA, works as a director of client services, golfs poorly, gardens lovingly, does yoga in her backyard while wearing her jammies, drinks fruity martinis, loves her golden retriever, and reads voraciously. To get started her first few stories are ones she wrote 15 years ago that have been resurrected. But she promises to start writing new ones now that the passion is back.
