Working with children, who, at such a young age, have seen so much of the worst that life has to offer, leads me to writing as a form of escapism ... maybe therapy of a sort. Frustrated at not having any definable style, with a stubborn refusal to plan a story and just let it 'pour' from my head, leads to me to this site with the intention of finally doing something constructive about my writing faux pas. That ... and the fact that none of my friends seem to be able to agree !
