Born in England, my husband and I went to live in Zambia in 1980, then moved to South Africa in 1989. In July 2011 we moved to Spain, as our final country of residence. We have been married 38 years and have three terrific, grown-up (in their opinion) ‘kids’, all doing their own thing elsewhere. I retired my Admin Manager post in 2007 in order to put together my first book, based on our varied and mostly silly experiences in Zambia, and subsequently SA. I have not completed the African bit yet and am already accumulating a collection of crazy experiences in Spain. I am especially partial to music, sunshine, dogs, horses and nice people. Important to me is: honesty, love, tolerance and humour. Now I reckon I need to get a move on with some writing.
