I am an aspiring novelist who loves horror and sci-fi. My favorite authors are Stephen King, for his well developed and realistic character set in unreal situations, Philip K. Dick, for his clever twists intersting take on reality, and H.P. Lovecraft, for his dark, sanity-straining moods and settings and almost poetic use of language. I also love Jesus Christ and hope glorify him in all that I do. To some this may seem to conflict with my love for the macbre, but in reality the Bible uses all types of literature to get its point across, including horrific and fantastic images. My hope is not to write Christian horror and sci-fi, but to write good horror and sci-fi that reflects my beliefs.
