I've been writting to amuse myself for years. Some I think are stories worth sharing, but I'm not so sure about how well I am crafting the stories. I'm here to get feedback, share feedback, participate in writing exercises and improve my writing.

Mostly, I write Sci-fi, dabble in Fantasy. I lean a little more towards the interaction of characters, how personalities drive the plot. While I have a science background, I'm a little less concerned with technical aspects. Most of my drafts are novels, since characters seem to breed more characters and how did they get here...?

I have been critized (rightly) for using too many words and editing down is painful. I appreciate feed back on what is extraneous or could be severely trimmed back. Some folks love the sound of thier voice, some love the vision of thier words...
