I was an English major in college and I worked for a newspaper for a little while, but I ended up working with special needs kids. I wrote my first novel when I was 23, but it was rejected by several publishers. One agent was interested for a little while but gave up. I never tried to get published again after that but I kept writing. I write Science Fiction novels.
