Srinidhi RV Lakhanigam is a science graduate of Bangalore University and a journalism postgraduate of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication, Mumbai. An adventure sports, motorcycle and travel aficionado, Carrollton (Tx)-based Srinidhi has extensively travelled in India, Nepal, Bhutan and United Arab Emirates (UAE). His travel experiences include bicycling across the world’s highest roads in Ladakh (India); dune bashing across the Arabian deserts (Dubai, UAE); trekking in the Nepal Himalayas and motorcycling across the Indian sub-continent. Beginning his travel-writing career in 2002, Lakhanigam has thus far published over 250 travel essays, travelogues, destination dossiers and profiles of historical and religious tourism locales in numerous national and international newspapers and magazines. His work has been published in numerous print and online publications including New Indian Express, Deccan Herald, Deccan Chronicle, The Telegraph, March of Karnataka, The Teenager, The Hindu and Bhavan’s Journal.
