My name is Nate Gomer. I'm 35, married to a beautiful Russian lady named Irina, and have two young sons -- Alex, 5, and Daniel, 3. I couldn't be prouder of my family. I was active duty U.S. Air Force for 13 years. I've recently finished the fourth draft of my first novel and will soon begin the agonizing process of seeking representation. >>> I've been writing since I was old enough to clutch a crayon. Folded and stapled paper books mostly, the majority never getting past the title and cover art stage. My only "career" highlights are snagging one of 50 awarded Honorable Mentions out of 1,100 high schoolers in the Arts Recognition and Talent Search back in 1990, and getting "published" by an online magazine ("Pulse" magazine at heartsoundspress dot com). Despite the impressive list of fellow contributors on the site, it just doesn't feel like real publication without something solid and bound in your hand, you know? Nothing else comes close to bringing the satisfaction to me that writing does. I need accountablility and fellowship and serious commitments (goals and challenges) to keep me alert and working. >>> Looking forward to meeting everyone and reading your work!
