Can one have two passions one teaching children the love of dance and the second writing?
I find the two are a happy marriage. I have self published several little picture books, a light hearted limerick book and for my seventy birthday I produced a book of poems offering an insight into my life experiences.
I prefer poems and stories that bring a smile to reader faces, however I have written have some with a more seroius tone. Many years ago I graduated in a course on 'Writing for Children. To gain more knowledge on writing I belong to writer's clubs and have attend many courses over the years. I believe one never stops learning.
