I am the mother of two daughters, Willow and Camille, and the wife of a wonderful man named Mike. We own and operate the world's first disc golf resort in Northern Wisconsin, known as Sandy Point Resort & Disc Golf Ranch. My first book "I'm Living Your Dream Life," (McKenna Publishing Group) tells the story of how a couple California yuppies moved to the Northwoods in search of their own Walden Pond. McKenna also published, "The Things I Wish I'd Said," a collection of newspaper columns published in the early 1990s with updated commentary. Both are available at Amazon.com. My first novel, "A Line Between Friends," (published on this site as "Name This Novel,") won a fiction contest, which resulted in publication, and has received excellent reviews. It has been optioned in both Taiwan and Mainland China and the Chinese version is scheduled for release in the summer of 2009. The novel I published chapter by chapter on this site, The Bellisimo Valley Bunco Squad," is now published and titled, "It's Not Your Mother's Bridge Club." It has a new format (and fewer characters), and launched in August, 2008. Today I'm working on a novel with the working title "Irish Twins." The feedback I received from this site for my first two novels was invaluable. I'm not sure I'd submit anything for publication without first workshopping it here. I appreciate any and all constructive comments and suggestions and LOVE making new writing friends. The friends I've made here have been an incredibly positive support group.
