I've been writing seriously for a little more than 10 years. I'm mostly interested in literary fiction but enjoy a good crime story, in particular cross-genre literary/crime.
I finished my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Maryland in 2013. The first chapter of one of my novels-in-progress won the Annual Katherine Anne Porter Prize at the University of Maryland in 2013. My short stories have appeared in The MacGuffin, Whistling Shade, Pisgah Review, Karamu, Sakura Review, Happy, Smokelong Quarterly, and Night Train, among other places.
