I have written several books and don't write in any one genre. I have one book published which is also the very first book I wrote way back in the late 1990's. It is a science fiction work titled, "Intervention". In this book, aliens intervene in our struggle to survive and enable us to travel to the stars and move rapidly into the future. For their help, we intervene on their behalf and save them and the rest of our area of the universe from domination  by a warlike species bent on destroying and conquering everyone they come across.

I went the self publishing route with that book and sales didn't go as well as I'd hoped they would due to a limited marketing budget and ill health. I am not sure when I will be able to publish the next book; one that deals with a friend of mine and his struggles to survive drug use and alcohol abuse rather than use his remarkable athletic skills and become a professional athlete. He trudges through life living from day to day, relying on his good charm and his ever present knowledge about almost anything, looking to party, get stoned and/or drunk and sleeping with any number of women who seem to throw themselves at him. From his first encounters with such things in the early 1970's to his untimely death far too early, we ride the gamut of highs and lows and those interesting times in between. Along the way we meet friends, family and lovers and the occasional enemy as he tries to survive the rigors of every day life.

I am in my sixties and live in Canada with my wife of 37 years. We have a daughter and a grandson who lights up our lives.
