I am the author of several articles published at Yahoo Contributor Network. I have been writing articles for the past few years, and cover topics such as health, business, writing, travel, and book reviews. I also write poetry, lyrics, short stories and novels. I have four poetry books published: Everlasting Arms: A collection of Religious Poetry, Heat of the Night: A Collection of Poetry on Love, Curious Perceptions: A Collection of Poetry Inspired by Life Experiences, Emotions, or Thoughts, and Day & Night: A Collection of Nature Poetry. I also have a book published titled The History of Sackets Harbor, NY. Each year I try to participate in Camp NaNo and the November NaNo. Just love the challenge and fun it brings knowing you are writing with others trying ot reach a common goal.
Lastly, I thank God for the life He has given me and the many gifts and talents that help make up who I am.
I received a Freelance Writing degree in 2001 from Harcourt Learning Direct (now Penn Foster Career School) in Scranton, PA.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, photography, writing, crafts, cooking and baking, outdoor activities such as sports, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing and hiking. I like to listen to all kinds of music and enjoy television shows such as CSI, America's Funniest Home Videos, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, NCIS, and Survivor. I also enjoys surveying the weather, particularly when there are storms brewing.
