My name is Keith Hampton. I have been (am?) many, but not all, of the things the characters in my stories are: alcoholic, dissolute, homeless, drunk, stupid, ignorant, a Lance Corporal in the USMC, an aspiring academic, married, divorced, a single father, celibate, wanton, spiritually bankrupt, morally bankrupt, bankrupt, lost, redeemed, spiritually transcendent, chemically transcendent, a truck driver, a Sales Associate at Saks Fifth Avenue, self-employed, unemployed, a fish monger, a fruit seller, a fool, a man, a woman, a confused and lonely child.  Currently I am a self-employed Janitor living in Santa Rosa, CA.
