Profile Information

Written all my life, returned to college at age 47, lucky enough to workshop for a year with Chang-Rae Lee (PEN Hemingway and many other honors) and be mentored by Debra Dean (novel Madonnas of Leningrad to be released by Morrow in March 2006) at the University of Oregon, and win an award or two. Had to go back to work soon after, and lacked the discipline and energy to get anything serious written since, but now retired and writing full time.
