In 30 years of working for a living, I was always running into friends who said, “The stuff that happens on this job, I could write a book.” But none of them did.

My Myrna stories are my attempt to do it.

They are fiction but can anyone write fiction without inserting their own experience, observations, lessons learned, rumors that sound better if dressed up a little?

I appreciate everyone fixing my commas, pointing out my repetitions, calling me on my pedantry.  I try not to be sloppy. It has taken me three months on NBW  to write this.  But what I really want I can’t ask for. It would only draw a polite, “Yes, of course I see that.”
