Joe Green Profile

Like most other writers, I have a story to tell. From my life experiences, I can recall people I met and places I travelled, and have witnessed political and social change in the process. I travelled to Eastern Europe and Russia during the first year Gorbachev's Glasnost policies were introduced; I lived in South Africa months after the pass codes were repealed; I met and befriended Barack Obama and his wife years before they came on the national stage and have had the chance to interview on television several of Chicago's pioneering DJs who brought and introduced the term "house music" to the world. The people I met and the places I have been are part of my personal interests and professional aspirations to understand how the world works, and what influences great people with great ideas to do great things. As I reflect on my life now, I share some of these experiences on paper, and try to convey to the reader what I find meaningful in these series of moments we describe as life experiences.
