jacqueline haskell Profile

Jacqueline Haskell began writing poetry and drama in her early teens. She turned down a place at Oxford for a career in the theatre. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London, and her poetry and short stories have been published in various magazines and anthologies. She has been shortlisted for both the Fish Short Story Prize and the Asham Award. She was recently mentored on the Gold Dust emerging writer scheme by novelist Jill Dawson and is currently working on her first novel, The Auspice.
