I study Psychology and Sociology at Hamline University. On the side, I am addicted to creative writing courses. I have taken creative writing courses every year since my senior year in high school. At the college level I am getting close to completing a minor in English. My latest class was Forms of Creative Non-Fiction which was taught under an excellent instructor with a book of CNF published herself. Through the creative writing courses I have taken, I have edited and critiqued dozens of poems and short stories with a broad range of styles and genres. I've also edited research presentations and took on a full book of fiction during the summer of 2011. Sometimes I enjoy editing and critiquing more than writing myself. Personally I publish at my own blog Good as Gay as well as on Gay Fresno. The latter which is based out of California. I have one self published book of poems called Love and Abomination with a second book of poetry on its way. I also had one poem published in a college literary magazine in the northern part of Minnesota. That makes me legit right? I hope to gain more experience in editing/critiquing here. My dream is to someday own my own editing business for people looking into self publishing.
