Jim Knight began life as a child. Voracious reading parents, especially a multiple award-winning mother with more articles published than he cares to count said he would never be lonely as long as he had a good book. He soon found good books were far more interesting than most of his friends, until he discovered girls really ARE different! ---- He's lived all over the country: Ski-bummed in VT; studied music in Boston, went to Los Angeles to be a rock 'n roll star but then had to pay the rent. Like, what's up with that? So he became a door-to-door salesman, sold cars, advertising, telemarketed; worked oil fields in Texas; wrote grant and financing proposals in Pennsylvania; hung out in Hawaii. Was a staff writer for a now defunct magazine in New York, contract technical writer--software manuals, web content, white papers, and other boring stuff. Was in the mortgage business in CT. ----- On reflection, he realized he's spent a life pursuing the meaningless, though the journey did compile warehouses packed with multiple lifetimes of experience. ----- Now, here he is, on a beach in FL, finally pursuing something of meaning and worth, and doing what he always knew he was born to do, but other stuff, like life, had to get out of the way first. ----- Thank you very much.
