Originally from the Chicago area. Which I still love and miss from time to time. I have a wonderful ten year old daughter. I started writing again this past year mostly poetry. I am also in the middle of my first book. A life change brought me back to my writing. I started to write here and there in High School and had some writing classes in college. I hope one day to publish my book and all of my poetry. I have won a bronze medal for my work in a poetry workshop. I also have recently been published (actually my first poem written). I have been told that my writing has improved...I have a long way to go where I feel 100% confident in my writings. I am learning more and more along the way. Many thanks to all of you who review my poetry. Please be honest, this I feel is the only way to learn, and write better poetry. I take my work very seriously....almost all of my poems are from my heart, from my life experiences especially over the last year and a half. So all that you read are factual. Thanks again.....J.
