J. Lawless Profile

J. (Judy) Lawless is a 56 year old mother of three grown children, all of whom live in B.C. at the moment. She was married for 23 years and lived on an organic "hobby farm". When the marriage ended she returned to college in Kingston Ontario, taking a Legal Assistant Course. It was in Kingston that she met her second partner. She has worked at many short-term jobs as an Administrative Assistant and has kept a journal for many years. After her partner passed away, she began to take her writing more seriously, taking writing courses and always practicing, with a goal to one day soon be published. That goal was reached this summer when her first story was published in The Country Connection Magazine! She now lives with her new partner in Peterborough.
