"Love all,trust a few, do wrong to none" William Shakespeare I am on a three year active tour with the National Guard in Alaska... although its not "me," I know God has placed me here for a reason and I have always made the absolute best of every situation.. I am a Florida girl at heart. To me, nothing is better than sitting against a pile of sand watching the sun dissapear. I love playing soccer, writing about my reflections on life and aspire to one day write childrens literature and sell my work in my own coffee house/book shop. I am a photographer, which makes the army convenient for traveling to new places. My father is my best friend, and I miss him a ton. I have always wanted to learn to surf, but I suppose skiing and snowboarding will do for now in the -65 deg weather. After my tour of Alaska is through I am moving to the Island of Oahu in Hawaii, I have always dreamed of living there and will do anything it takes to get there. I am a christian although by no means do I claim to be perfect,I do thank God everyday for the million ways he has blessed my life with amazing friends,family, the awesome people I meet daily and the luxuries that I probrably don't deserve. I worked at a local news station when I lived in Florida and I was a studio photgrapher... I miss my previous work and will one day return to live television and photography (although next time I will be making the big bucks with my degree) I am currently majoring in broadcast- journalism; I may continue my education with a minor in fine arts and literature and possibly elementary education. I honestly don't know what I want to be when I "grow up"! I always considered teaching television production or possibly producing an education segment for tv news. Despite my career ambitions I know I want to be happy, I want to find my best friend and marry them, I can't wait till the day that I am blessed with a family, I want to travel the world and see life for all it is worth, If I die tomorrow I want to be able to say..."wow that was a blast!" We are often soo caught up in the destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people that we meet along the way...appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it. When You Come to the edge of all of the light you have ever known...Faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught how to fly.
